Can't wait any longer!!!
So today i am sitting here in school, bored wanting to fish...the rain won't stop me! I went to Orvis Buffalo this weekend for a free seminar saturday, which was very very nice. This week was Caddis and it was cool, learned a new pattern, the Low Rider Caddis(Ill get picks up ASAP!). If they do this again I'll be sure to put it up here with all the info, because if you go to them you get a $25 off a $50 purchase that day. Well i couldn't resist so I spent $80, but it was a $80 well spent! Got some new stuff that I'm going to use to come up with a new Caddis larvae pattern... Using Large lt. olive ultra wire or Green uni-floss. I'll get thos pics up as soon as I can!!!

Tying some flies...actually alot of flies.
I've just been fillin' up the boxes waiting for the weather to break free of the grip of Ol' Man winter. Although it saddens me to see the winter sport season drawing to a close, I am looking for the spring and lots of fish on the line. I will have some pictures of flies and other goodies as soon as I figure out how to crop the friggin pictures so you see the flies... till then, good fishin

Best fly fishing site EVER
Today i was sniffing around on the internedt trying to find a website that sold cheap, yet decent to high quality hooks for cheaper than 9.00$ per 50. So i found www.flyshack.com. A very good site indeed! They sell Saber hooks as well as Daiichi hooks. And the hooks per 100 cost 7.00$!!!!!!!! Yes! i could barely stay in my seat when I saw that! Although they do not have as many materials for fly tying like Orvis has, but 100 hooks for 7$ thats a deal and a half. They even have some good quality tying tools there as well, like bobbins for 10$ and hair stackers for 10$ and less. So if you have a chance check out this site you wont be dissapointed!!

Well the season is only a few weeks away! So today i got the itch, the dreaded i want a new outfit itch...oh boy. So i went and bought a Brand spankin new Battenkill Mid arbor fly reel from orvis...that set me back 150$. Already i have been trying to curve the unstoppable urge to go fly fishing by tying flies and that has only left me a new problem, finding the perfect dying/spent caddis i just cant figure it out. But when i do it will be my masterpiece!!!!!
